I am sure, that barbera would have let a happy life in a controlled environment. She is happy with just being left alone. Even befor she was hit by a lightning she was antisocial and psychopathic (but not actively harming other beings.) Maybe, if an experiment had required a skinned rat, she would not have hesitated. Its a thing in her family.
